Eirena's language skills are developing so quickly it is hard to keep up. Recently she started this renaming of things to show her affection for them. I can only assume she picked it up from hearing 'dog' get turned into 'doggy'.
So now she says 'catty' when feeling affectionate with the cats.
And 'bussy' and 'truckey', because she is always feeling affectionate towards buses and trucks.
Eirena also discovered "m broken treats". I'm sure you're all familiar with them, you know, they melt in your mouth, not in your hand. Yeah, those things. Apparently she noticed the 'm' on them. On one of them the 'm' was broken. Dr. Daddy told her that although the 'm' was broken on her treat, it was still fine to eat. And so now they are known as "m broken treats". (Dr. Daddy later tried to tell her that she probably shouldn't eat the broken 'm's' just to be safe, but rather give them to him- she was no fool.)
Eirena got a doll for Epiphany. Instead of just calling it 'baby doll' all the time, I asked her what its name was. She thought long, she thought hard. And then she said, "George". Naturally.
