If you look at the books Eirena is reading, you may notice that they have a lot to do with trains and trucks. They are her current passions. Today she woke up and announced that she was going to ride a blue bus (she is still into buses). As it turned out, she did in fact get to ride a blue bus. Two of them in fact. We rode the buses to meet Dr. Daddy at his work for lunch.
While that was pretty fun in and of itself, it got even better. Across from Dr. Daddy's building there is a construction site. There are all sort of cool things there like excavators and dump trucks. Eirena was able to actually watch an excavator (Snort- for Are You My Mother? fans) dig and dump. She got to see the dump truck's bed first be up, and then go down. Very exciting. And then she got to ride a couple of green buses home.
For a truck obsessed two year old, it was a very exciting day.
