On Sunday Eirena asked Dr. Daddy why we celebrate the Eucharist. He did a great job of explaining it to her.
Last night Eirena asked him to tell her the story of the farmer...the one that sows his seeds and some of them fall on rocky soil, some are choked by thorns, some are eaten by birds and some thrive. And of course, being two, she had to ask "why?" and so Dr. Daddy got to explain that to her too.
I was struck by how sweet it was to hear a daddy explaining the Gospel to his inquisitive daughter.

ARM has also been asking about the Eucharist. But my favorite was the other day when he asked "Mom why do peoples bodies die and then they go to heaven to live with Jesus?" I am so not prepared for questions like that at breakfast...
