This past week we were in Houston. Dr. Daddy had a conference there and his family lives there too, so it was a great way to mix business and pleasure. More on that later. But this trip came right after our trip back to Az for Joel's defense and we left the cats alone for another 5 days.
And now we know they really do love us, even if it is just a tiny little bit because...
Berji ran to the door to greet us.
Berji would rather stay inside and get petted than run outside and roll in the dirt.
She snuggled and kneaded all night long with us. (I do literally mean ALL NIGHT!)
She perched on my shoulder while I was brushing my teeth, just to be near me.
And what of Efendim? Well, he popped out to say 'hi' a few times too.
