A song and narratives by Eirena

This morning while Dr. Daddy and I were running Eirena sang to herself in the stroller:

Baa baa black sheep
have 'ny wool
yessir yes three bag full
one master
one...
baa baa black sheep
have 'ny wool

Yesterday Eirena wanted me to read a book of hers about the first Easter. When I got to the part about the Last Supper, I said Jesus took the bread, broke it ... etc. Eirena really latched on to the breaking of the bread (no doubt because of the French press incident of a couple days ago). So I told her that yes, Jesus broke the bread, and explained bread was like biscuits or muffins. So now in her little mind I think she has Jesus breaking (read shattering?) muffins and biscuits for his friends.

Also yesterday Üç popped Eirena's last balloon from Trader Joe's. So now she tells the story:
E: red boona popped (with emphasis on the 'p' sound)
Me: that's right, the red balloon popped
E: mommy did it?
Me: no, mommy did not pop it
E: 'ena did it?
Me: no, Eirena did not do it
E: Urch did it
Me: that's right, Üç popped your red balloon
E: Urch did it, red boona popped.

When we lived in Az there was some construction work being done next to where we would walk down to the splash park. At some point Eirena saw trucks there and piles of mud and has been convinced that trucks carry mud. We have tried to teach her that not all trucks carry mud, but some trucks carry mud (primarily because we wanted a little variation in the story). Well then she got to ride in a truck, and she saw horses riding in a truck, and then recently she saw ladders in a truck. So today she said:

truck carry ladders
Me: yes, trucks carry ladders
some truck carry ladders,
not all
Me: that's right, some trucks carry ladders, not all
some truck carry mud

(and here we start the story of how some trucks carry mud, again)
