Eirena loves her books. She loves having us read them over and over again to her. And over and over and over again. She has been able to fill in the blanks at the end of a sentence in her books for quite a while now. But recently she started being able to recite the WHOLE sentence, sometimes the whole page. It is so much fun to hear her tell the story and also amazing to realize how much she picks up just by hearing.
When we brush her teeth we sing her ABC's to her and then count. We started off counting to 10, then increased it to 15. I taught to count 1-15. Then we brushed her teeth counting to 20, but never taught her the numbers. But the other day she was playing outside and I started counting with her and she took off and went all the way to 20 on her own. It is just so amazing to see the developmental leaps she is going through these days.
