Wedding Bells

When Eirena turns 8 years old she will get married. So I was told yesterday. I mentioned that 8 might be a bit young, but she disagreed, thinking it would be v-e-r-y o-l-d. She also told us that she was going to marry Dr. Daddy (despite my prior claims to him). Then she went on to describe her dress. It will be green and pink, green on one side, pink on the other half, with green and pink sequins on the respective sides. It will have long sleeves and ankle length- she even drew a little picture for us. Dr. Daddy asked her if she would have dancing at her wedding. "Only a little bit", she replied. But first there would be ice skating. And then skiing. And then the dancing. (But no brides or bridesmaids- I tried to explain that she would be the bride but she didn't believe me.) Oh but there will be a wedding cake, so not to worry, when you're done ice skating and skiing there will be some refreshments.

All this detail when she is 4.5 kind of has me worried for what sort of bridezilla she will actually be, should the time come. In any event, I think it a wedding that has ice skating and skiing at it will definitely be one to remember!
