He's 4!

Adisu turned 4 years old yesterday. We had a low-key morning and then a simple party in the afternoon. He chose, for a special activity, to go ice skating. So we went after he opened presents. (Dr. Daddy even convinced me to put on some skates.) He had a great time skating and has been working on the puzzles he got as presents.

Adisu requested a red car cake with blueberries. So we made blueberry muffins with a strawberry cream cheese frosting (it is red... don't let the pink color confuse you- anyone who calls it pink will not get a piece!). The kids' cake is decorated with the required junk candy. The adults got warmed muffins and spread the frosting on top. :)
