Sprinkling
This afternoon Eirena dressed up in my heels (I do in fact have a couple pairs of heels) and with her twirly skirt and important-teacher-voice set off on some "mission". I turned a few minutes later to see her dabbing her brother's hair. I asked her what she was doing. "I'm baptizing everyone", she replied. And I watched as she took water from a container -- I verified that she had filled it from the faucet--and baptized Eskil, then me and then Dr. Daddy, imitating what she had seen in church. And this is where I think it should be very glad that our church, meeting in a school gymnasium, does not practice baptism by immersion.
