Actions

If actions speak louder than words why can't my children sort the laundry into the same piles that I have done in their presence for one to four years? i.e. one for pile for each member of the family, not a random assortment of one person's shirt, another one's socks and yet another one's pants.
(And unfortunately, it isn't just the fact that I fold laundry that wears off on them.)

Uncle Wiggily and the brothers- or what is going on around here

Eirena is Uncle Wiggily, the bunny rabbit gentleman. She lives the stories.
And so we did the only sensible thing a parent would do- get her the game so that she can really obsess over it. (It also has improved her counting skills, but that is a side benefit.)
bringing out the game- Eskil was pretty curious too.

Eirena is very creative in her Uncle Wiggily interpretations.
Here is Mr. Longears with his red, white and blue striped rheumatism crutch in one hand, holding his umbrella (in case of rain) and he hops along.

I tried making a new "tall, silk hat" for the rabbit. She wore it for one day, but went back to the all pink one.
While their sister is being silly, Eskil and Adisu have been finding their own fun.
Eskil quite loves crawling, flopping and rolling on the bean bag.
Adisu has suddenly found fun in getting his brother to laugh at/with him.

It is pretty easy to get this little guy to laugh.

And Eskil is always happy to give some hugs.
It is really fun to see Adisu and Eskil playing together.

That's most of what is going on at our nut-house.
